This was what the listing agent said after I came out of the attic and described what I saw as "framing inconsistencies, sloppy cuts, and minimal bearing support in some areas of the roof". I said "it doesn't make it right". She looked annoyed when I said that but she didn't see what I saw.

And this house was just inspected back in May by the big franchise inspection company around here. The inspector didn't go into the attic and he got through the house in 2 hours. It took me 4 hours. After the seller sees my report compared to that previous report, they're going to wonder if these reports are on the same house.

I do not think I would describe the framing you pictured is "Minimal"

I agree Rick. My verbiage was too soft in describing it. Unprofessional, improper, and inadequate are more appropriate.

Its a good thing it is a high pitched roof or it certainly would be tumbling down with the weight of snow.
