Architectural Shingle Valley

What is the best option for valleys using architectural shingles? I understand that if a woven valley is used that it voids the warranty (GAF). Is this correct? There is the "no cut" valley which is what I started to use but with these shingles, it is quite thick. I guess I could always go with the standard cut valley. Any suggestions would be apppreciated. Thank you.
