Google has taken an experimental step to make its own version of the Facebook like and I strongly encourage everyone to put it up on their site ASAP so they're sites are ready in case Google does decide to go full force on it.

You can add a +1 button to your site by going to Google (http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/index.html) (The NACHI boards are corrupting this link so you might need to copy/paste it). Add the code to your site.

Sign up so you can +1 other sites at Google Experimental Search (http://www.google.com/experimental/) (make sure you're logged into a Google account of some form).

The +1 buttons are starting to show up next to Google search listings. If some of your friends (aka Google Contacts) have +1 a page, their names will show next to the search results on Google. This becomes a powerful marketing tool.

You must have a Google Profile to click +1 but anyone can add the link.

Check it out on the right side column of http://www.HomeInspectorPro.com

I suggest starting a new thread to +1 each other!

More details to come soon.

Great info to share!

You will also fine the +1 near the top of all InspectionNews Pages. Click +1 on all threads that you find helpful or interesting.

Hey Dominic,

Tried to figure it out, but no luck. I guess that the writers of this stuff really believe that the rest of us understand their jargon. Is there a set of step-by-step instructions written for home inspectors who have limited understanding as to what is to be done? You know, like "Copy this line and put it here".

Hey Gunnar!

Go to Google (http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/index.html) and just copy the code they have listed there. Then insert the code on your site by editing the page you want and click on an HTML, SOURCE or <> button in your editor (what you have depends on who is hosting your website). I can't give any more detail as I don't know who is hosting your website.

I'm glad you just said "Recreate" ;)

Yup, every night between 3am and 7am I get some sleep. I run a few times a week and during the summer I actually try to get in a few games of basketball. Just don't tell anyone!
