I don't see an issue. Where is the utility sink draining to? Do you have a pick of the utility sink connections to the tap on the sink?

Just like there is no code as to what you can plug into a receptacle....there is no code as to what you can connect to a faucet. That is why it is important to make sure both are installed properly.

There sure the heck are code references as to what you may and may not attach to a potable plumbing system faucet, supply, system, hose bib, stop cock, etc. Be it IPC, UPC, IRC, NSF, ASTM references, ASME, ASSE, reference standards, etc.

The Table P2902.3 Exception (No. 2) for not requiring backflow protection for the clothes washing machine when integral protection at the machine is provided (protection of water supply, etc.) is DEFEATED and nulled by the use of the screw on type "Y" hose diverter to hoses supplying the apparently described but not pictured Landry Tub (wash tub), Sink, or Laundry Tray.

No it is not allowed.

A proper modification to the permanent potable plumbing SYSTEM is required before the fixture and faucet may be connected to it. Proper Drainage, venting, and protection from backflow/cross contamination/back syphonage is also required.

Laundry Trays may be drained to a stack with minimum and maximum clearances and elevations from the trap wier, Landry Sinks and Tubs may not be, as far as I read the phoenix ammendments to the IRC and UPC.

Cannot share the same stops either. No dips in the hose to syphon or dead water, supplies below flood rim not above. Wash Tub requires 1-1/2 drain with cross or strainer.
