I know this comes up frequently and I looked but could not find a reference for finding the age of HVAC equipment.

I did an inspection for a customer and they asked the age, the unit is a Goodman
Model CKL30-1D
Serial 0201433991

Any assistance would be appreciated

First two digits are the year of manufacture 2002

next two digits are are the month 01.

Date manufactured not installed is January 2002.
