I am doing an inspection on a rural home with a shared well, USDA wants to have a test on the well and confirm it will deliver 10 gpm for 4 hours. Typically I would use a 5 gallon bucket and time 30 seconds but have never been asked this before.

You need a water meter...here is one example.
