Dishwasher drain

Never seen this before and want to know if it's acceptable. Island installed dishwasher with 3/4" pex used for drain and tapped with a fitting into a PVC "P" trap in the crawl space. In the for front of the picture at the "T" connection there is an AAV.

Should of paid more mind and took more pictures but there was so many issues with the home this kind of went to the wayside.

802.1.6 Domestic dishwashing machines. Domestic
dishwashing machines shall discharge indirectly through an
air gap or air break into a standpipe or waste receptor in
accordance with Section 802.2, or discharge into a
wye-branch fitting on the tailpiece of the kitchen sink or the
dishwasher connection of a food waste grinder. The waste
line of a domestic dishwashing machine discharging into a
kitchen sink tailpiece or food waste grinder shall connect to
a deck-mounted air gap or the waste line shall rise and be
securely fastened to the underside ofthe sink rim or counter.

Nope - you need to report on it. As for the many issues: Sometimes I find that I need to actually plant my butt on the crawl space floor in different locations and just spend time looking around so that I have a better chance of seeing everything. I've also caught myself being hung up on one condition and then almost missing 5 others. Sure would like to sometimes drag the client down there so they could appreciate my efforts.

I did put it in my report and was wondering what you all thought. This home had allot of water related issues and just had a sealed crawl space installed. The garage slab was fill dirt and settled over 6" on one side. Never seen something sink so far before. Brick veneer with no weep holes. Flat porch roof with the steel lintel at roof deck height so there was no proper way of flashing roof to wall. The list went on and on and it was a Custom built 3900 sq. ft. home built in 99. Builder lived next door :p
