I do not get stucco very often so I need to make sure...

This is 80 yar old house. It appears to be FRESHLY painted stucco. My question is that portions of the stucco rest on the foundation or footing for the porch and other sections do not appear to have a weep screed. It all feels like it is in good shape.

I know the gaps at the windows are bad.

Can the stucco run into the footing?

If stucco is applied directly to the concrete, it should have a drip screed right?

Thanks for the help.

Stucco over masonry doesn't have a drainage plane, and so doesn't need a weep screed.

Old school stucco was installed by hand in 3 layers to keep water out. You won't find a weep screed on any house that old.

Is the house a frame house or a concrete block house?

I.e., were you referring to the stucco on the edge of the slab, or on a block wall?

Not sure of the wall type, the inspection is tomorrow. Wanted to get a jump on this if possible.
