Any time dissimilar metals are in contact they may have a galvanic reaction, however I think it unlikely for this to be a problem here.

I don't remember my chemistry, but I would say probably not. The underlying metal of the strap is steel. Zinc is used to coat steel pipe.

Wasn't galvanized plumbers tape designed to hold up steel pipes?

Looks like steel pipe with steel straps, in which case, no, no galvanic corrosion.
