Deck clearance to roof?

Is there a minimum clearance the deck and its framing has to be above the roof it is over? And yes it is leaking!

Thanks Jerry, Myrtle Beach has minimums for widows walks, but must be a local thing.

Is that the overhead electrical service drop I see, and does it go to a weatherhead on the wall?

Or is that the phone wire?

Phone wire, I think? You had me thinking you do have x-ray vision:confused: , overhead is at the far corner of that pic and not possible to see.

Just got my repaired x-ray glasses back last week ... looks like they need to have a slight adjustment on the depth perception made. :)

Might want the perscription checked as well. Should have seen the 4 out of 5 Zinsco panels it went to.:D
