Want to be sure on age

I am having a hard time believing what I am seeing here. Nice 2006 house. AC looks like it is same age, but the serial number tells me it is a 1998 model unless I am mistaken. What year is this Luxaire serial number?

There were two systems. Here is the other and it looks to be a 1994 model:eek:

The furnaces show to be a 2002 & 2003. Everything else in the home as well as the tax records says 2006, so I am wondering whats up?

Luxaire Changed Serial number code for all Post 2005 models so the old numbering system does not work.
* sorry I don't have The New number code.

Doing a little more looking it Appears the 1st and 3rd Numbers combined would be the Year of Manufacture.

in your case 05 and 06.
