Do you guys call out when unions are missing on everything or just certain materials. Have doon several inspection where they are not installed. Thanks

If you're talking about ground unions on gas piping, it is required by code. To straight pipe a unit is to make it unserviceable. You would also have to ask yourself how did they screw it in? Remove the valve from the appliance then crank it in?
