I have been trying to read a bunch of posts to see if my questions are already here....most are and this may be a stupid question but....what else do I need (or should I) to be certified in besides just the home inspector license to make me competitive??

There are no stupid questions when in persuit of knowledge, and hence the ability to present your client with more informative inspection results. Keep the questions coming,
there is no shortage of accomplished inspectors on this forum whom are more than willing to share thier knowledge and experience with you for the betterment of the industry.
