I have found some really strange and bizarre things on and within a roof system.Dead animals,condoms,kotex,needles,bullets,spider infestations as well as ants.But finding this would make everything else seem trivial.

Wow, that's a lot of bats! I'm surprised there wasn't more guano around. Those big tough roofers seemed scared of them.

Thats crazy!!!!! I would be concerned about that many bats too. I'm not all that crazy about flying rodents.

Bet there weren't many flying insects in that neighborhood. Bats are wonderful mosquito catchers. The local bats around here are supposed to eat 1000 mosquitoes an hour. The colony of bats in Bracken cave will eat approximately 250 tons of insects in an evening.

BTW, bats are not rodents. They are much cooler and extremely beneficial. That said, I wouldn't want them in my attic.

Kristi, looked to me like piles of guano near the eaves in the last few seconds of the video.

Oh, right - they even say, "that's all guano." I missed that.

It's interesting seeing them scramble on all fours like that, much like rodents do. Not all bats can crawl like that.

There are some pretty cool rodents out there!
