FWIW, I don't call that out typcially and do not know of a requirement for that particular configuration to be sloped. It does not appear from your photo to have much room to collect water at the top of the trim piece. I do always look at that area to make sure that there is not an exposed opening at the top of the column, and I make sure that it is properly selaed to prevent moisture entry.
