Attached are the original complaint filing as well as two reponses from the attorney for Pillar to Post and the inspector.

Some scary stuff. It looks like one of two things happend.
The buyer was not properly informed of our liminations prior to the inspection, or the inspector and franchise over sold their services/ what a customer should expect to get the sale.

Or the issues that caused the mold were not observable in the course of a normal inspection under Texas rules...

Or that the inspector did indeed miss a moisture related issue that he could have/should have seen..

If the buyer read the pre-inspection contract and signed it then there's a pretty good chance that the inspection limitations were conveyed as Pillar to Post is a franchise and likley has an inspection agreement written by an attorney.

There's not really enough info in the story or legal documents to make a good hypothesis but my guess is the same old ploy of sue everyone involved and see what sticks. :(
