POWDERED ATTIC INSULATION

hey all

happy memorial day and thanks for serving if you did. came across this insulation today--1926 remodel. have seen this kind of lime material in crawlspace, but never in attic. i know attic needs aditional insulation, but what is it--it is real powdery

I agree Perlite is my guess.

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago, and the answer that I did received from the forum is : perlite.
