That's just plain silly!

I can't find the pictures but I inspected a brand new roof on an older home last year that almost all the shingles were nailed too low leaving all the nail heads exposed. The sellers repair suggestion was that he would seal all the nails heads (hundreds) with roofing sealant!

There, fixed!

Perhaps the same mfg. on that roofing also makes those crazy single pole light switches, ( and some circuit breakers ), that are labeled "NO" an "FFO".
