Greenwood Cotton Insulation

Can anyone please enlighten me on this type of insulation. It was in an attic and crawl space today. Cannot find much about it. Also is it safe?

I think that Greenwood has been out of business for a number of years now, seems like they closed down about 2000-2003, not positive on that but was using their product until it was no longer available. Recycled denim material, it was supposed to be as safe as cellulose, no itch, environmentally sound, was more expensive, but it did appeal to a lot of people.

Cotton IS cellulose.
