Newmac combo Wood Electric furnace. No manuals or info. Pics of both data plates. I have a Reference Guide, it doesnt cover Newmac wood furnaces :( .... Looking for the year of manufacture.

yes that is a nice site, although, it doesnt cover newmac woodburning. I called the company in Nova Scotia. It reads like this.

#1 and 2 = Month; #3 and 4= Day; #5 and 6 = Year = July 15 2008

It is not infallible, but is the best I've found. Had one today that told me the unit was manufactured in 1953; more research said 2000.

Yep, not infallible, but I like how they started the site. I have a few other links I tried and Newmac was not represented fully. And thats okay. I did know in advance that the D in the serial number means Debert, Nova Scotia. I just made a quick call and made a new friend. ;)

Thank you
