Allowable bow in a stud

What is the allowable deflection and or bow in a wood stud wall, interior load bearing and exterior wall load bearing before it needs to be blocked and or replaced?

New Homes 3/8" over 8' here. I don't know if thats an AZ thing or common everywhere.
