Good morning, Gents -

For those of you practicing in Colorado, I have updated the compliance status of the methlab property list, and that can be found here:

Colorado Methlab Locations (http://www.forensic-applications.com/meth/Properties.html)

The list identifies the known compliance status of the property. Occupancy or a “clearance letter” does not indicate compliance and several properties were unlawfully sold, and are unlawfully occupied (unbeknownst to the occupant). I will be updating the addresses again in a week or so.

Due to the number of fraudulent consultants and unauthorized Industrial Hygienists performing these assessments, there is currently a bill in front of the Colorado State legislature that will discipline incompetent Industrial Hygienists and fraudulent consultants performing “methlab testing” with a $15,000 per day fine. Although that should take care of some of the problems we have seen over the last couple of years, there are still numerous contaminated properties that are now being occupied.

For those not in Colorado, a partial list of clan-labs is given on the DEA National site:

DEA, National Clandestine Laboratory Register (http://www.justice.gov/dea/seizures/index.html)

The DEA site lists a very small portion of property addresses; certainly fewer than 10% of those that are known.

Cheers!

Bogus credentials... hmmm.... how novel.... I know of one association which hands out titles which upon closer scrutiny do not pass the smell, scratch, taste test... could it be this same wannabe association which has its headquarters in Colorado?.... Call me jaded. ;)

Thanks for the update.
