Many may look at a garage door during an inspection but may not really see what is going on with its many elements. Here is a point many may over look.
The connection of the spring to the bracket. First pict incorrect & 2nd is corrected.

Made a quick tabulation and came up with 42 general items to check before thinking about opening the door. Much less testing/inspecting/operating any function of the doors operation.
