Greg,
OLD!

I thought I was the only one who had that system. It was original when my home was built in 1971. When we bought the home in 1998, it still had the original Singer air handler. It was held together with "rust".

Guessing from the numbers, I would say Feb of 75.

Since you have the serial number do you also have the model number?

What's the model number? My Carrier Blue book shows Singers from 1970 to 1982, but as with other references the model number is needed.

I found one condenser and 2 air handlers from a 8 unit commercial building that was built in 1980. Working fine and drawing about the same amps as the 2011 next to it.

Amps used and Seer ( efficiency ) are not related.

Kathy,
I could not find a match to ACB50029-1S. I did find ACR50029-2S and it was 1978.
