I hit a pay for click that poped up on this site.
A local inspector that's been Lic for 7 years is doing full inspectons for $159.00 on homes up to 2500', want a pool inspection add $29.00
And you were shocked that it was your own Website?

Is it the $ 159 or the $ 29 that bothers you the most?

Pricing models are different for different guys.. They will/come/go/stay. We've all seen it before. Occasionally, a lower price is a foot in the door... other times it is a flag waving on a sinking ship.
More often, established inspectors *temporarily* lose business to said desperate price models, but as I have experienced in the past, the RE professionals end up being frustrated with an alarmist.. inexperienced/uneducated inspector that is still really just earning while they are learning... they *mean well*, but are far from ready to provide a professional service.
Sadly, in our business....It's a cycle... sometimes you're only as good as what is perceived as your "last performance".. that you killed or "helped" a deal, neither of which are our job. I guess in the end, it'll come around.. and thankfully, it generally does!

The encouraging thing I noticed was. Price doesn't neccessarly fill the calender. The $159. inspector has an on-line scheduler, next week he only had 2 inspections scheduled.
And you know this by ______?
