Help identifying

Can someone tell me what type of shingle this is and possibly the instillation methods?

Shingles? what shingles?

Looks to be a deteriorated, bad, roof-over job with roll roofing - don't know what's under the low-slope flats - hot mop & felt, whatever. The quonset-type roof could be failing metal, with old mastic, patches, etc. under the failing, old, roof-over roll roofing.

Its a 1993 original roof one layer. Some type of fiberglass shingle.

I bought a house to remodel about 2 months ago with shingles very much like these.
Jerry's link is the only place I could find them.
Seems that other manufacturers quit making them about 20 years ago.
I had a small area to repair.
I used roll roofing.

They are showing age but other than where the upper roof runs off, they look OK.

Here are pics of other areas with no runoff hitting them. It held up will on the pitched roof but not so much on the arched roof.

That's because the arched roof does not meet the minimum slope required for shingles as the shingles approach the top of the arch. :)

Here are pics of other areas with no runoff hitting them. It held up will on the pitched roof but not so much on the arched roof.Some of that wear looks like it is from foot traffic. When I see that, I tell people there is something they can do to make the roof last - stop walking on it. :D
