Hi All,

Thanks in advance for reading this thread. I am wondering if you can advise me whether the insulation on the hot water pipe in the below photos is asbestos.

I am located in New Jersey and the house was built in 1968.

It looks like it may contain asbestos. I would recommend testing to confirm.

Hi All,

Thanks for your responses. Guess I will hire a lead and asbestos inspector in addition to the house inspector for this house to make sure.
