Can a double lug be installed in the main service entrance ground connection so at to extend to remote panel? (To avoid double tap)(one conductor under one screw)

Is there no ground bus? Or is the problem fitting the wire into the bus (too large)? The main problem with a double lug, is if it appears as a splice to the inspector. The requirement is for a continuous, unspliced grounding electrode conductor from the grounding point (rod, pipe, rebar tie, etc.) to the main service termination point, usually a grounding bus marked for that purpose.

Yes, there are auxiliary bars or lugs that are made for the purpose. This will likely need to come from an electrical supplier (not the big orange box store)
