Kickout flashing is generally for roof applications - at the lower end against a vertical plane (ie. wall).

The stone is an exterior wall cladding and therefore is allowed to have water run down it's face.

Assuming there's flashing? If I don't see flashing I write that I don't see it. I'll let the client make the assumptions.
