Is this what is known as a tailpipe?

Yep, it was left there. And its staying there, I'm not about to move it.

I can hear the sellers out of state now saying....

"Honey, did you get everything?

"Sure did"

"What about you know what?"

"I'm sure I packed it, have you not seen it?" :)

1 1/4-inch tail piece with integrated pop-up.

Now there's a coincidence. I think the drain part has exactly the same name! :D

(Actually, if you Google plumbing parts and tail piece and/or tail pipe it seems the two terms are interchangeable...also one or two words).

Found this pic among the photos taken at this same foreclosed house. They had written things like this all over the house with chalk.

Seems they left some "good memories" behind.

I'm not a handwriting expert, but if I was going to place a bet, that sure looks like a woman's handwriting to me :))

Rick,
I would say that they left their pusher for the ever popular TREC food waste disposer. However I dont see any garbage disposal.
Could be a drain stopper.

Looke to me like a suppository injection device for not so conservative citizens who reside in abundance in places such as San Fran-sick-o
