PLUMBING AND A CULTURED MARBLE MFG. FACTORY TOUR
LOCATION: CUSTOM MARBLE PRODUCTS... 230 E. HIGHLAND CHANDLER AZ 85225
DATE. Sat March 23 - 9am -3 pm
***Learn how to identify the four different types of manufactured products,
used for bath tubs/ showers and sinks.
*** Live demo of the complete manufacturing process.
We will see a live demo manufacturing a bath room sink, and shower walls,
starting with setting up a mold, applying the gelcoat finish, mixing the
resin and other chemicals, ground lime stone, and coloring, and pouring
the marble mix/ matrix in a mold to cure.
At the end of the seminar we will remove the finished products from the mold
In addition to the seeing manufacturing process the Seminar will cover:
** Common factory defects that you will find/see in cultured marble, granite, and onyx sinks, tubs and showers.
*** Common shower wall, shower base and tub installation defects
** Common defects due to age and mis-use
** Recommended care for cultured marble products
** Tips on identifing defects and how to report the defects.
** Tips on how to recommend repairs
**ROC standards for the product, and installation standards
** Jetted tubs, plumbing-wiring- and installation and access requirements
** Demo of different types of shower bases and installations.
** Shower door defects and installation tips .
** Solid Surface Products: Fabrication process of solid surface
[ corian like materials] kitchen and bath sinks and countertops.
Integral and under mount sinks
Demo/tips on removing scratches and burn marks, on solid surface
countertops.
