Drain line diameter?

I have been looking and cannot find if there is a size requirement (or recommendation)for a crawlspace floor drain.

I have a drain in a crawl space but its never seen water. 3 years ago I had an addition put on, a sun room it has a concrete floor under it. The contractor put a drain in using the old window well drain pipe.

Seemed like a waste but if I ever get water there its pitched toward the drain which is connected to the weeper.

Ok so you have a sump down there .
I think that should be 2 inches.
