looking at this site because I have noticed a sagging of my double garage door lintel in the past few years. This year, my 13 year old home has developed cracks in the brick above the center of the lintel and above the corners of the garage. I'm trying to find out if there is a permanent fix to the cracking brick since I know the problem is not going to resolve itself.

There are a few possible causes. Therefore there are several practical repairs. They are beyond the capabilities of most home owners. I recommend that you contact a couple of reputable general contractors to get estimates.
