Saw this type of exhaust vent yesterday at an inspection. Would not these type of dryer vents violate code because dryer vents need to exhaust to the exterior?

That is one of the many products which are allowed to be manufactured, stocked in stores, sold, and ... then put on the shelf as 'art work' as they are not allowed to actually be installed and used. ;)

Hi, ALL &

Regardless of being 'proper' - if you want to dump liters (sorry = quarts, for you folks not up here in Canada) of moisture into your home each time, go ahead if you want mold-growth and major problems...

Crazy idea - unless you're in the desert, perhaps.

Cheers !
