Anyone got a resource for the limitations on how a condensate pump outflow can be piped. I see these things with their outflow line going straight up for 6 feet or more and then run 20 feet outside. I find it hard to believe that little pump can pump that water with that kind of head. Do they have a check valve in them?

Ren, Here is a link to a cheap pump and it is rated for 10 ft max height and comes with a 20 ft hose.
It does have a check valve also,

Tks BK, Those little pumps really do the work for what they are.

As shown in the link Bruce supplied, the answer is in the installation instructions of the particular condensate pump in question as they can vary quite a bit, but the one in the link shows what (as Bruce described it) a 'cheap pump' can do.
