For the use of pex as backup flow preventer extension, and heat rated plastic heating pipe for tpr extension. thanks

I do not understand "backup flow preventer extension".

oops, sorry Rick, Backflow preventer. On a boiler. This boiler had PEX instead of copper pipe. And heating supply lines(plastic) on the tpr valve.By the way, Happy 4th to you and yours!!
