What do you think of this water heater connection? Two listed metal segments connected together with PEX segment. What do you think? See photos.

Where does the TPR drain too on the right tank?
No TPR drain on the left tank.

Where do the pans drain too?
Is there a cold water shutoff? (Don't see one)

No sediment traps on gas line.
Will the 1/2" Tee supply gas for two WH?

I don't know of any thing wrong with using a pex connector

Hello Rick, the installation of the water heaters was still in progress so there were other things missing as well. I agree, the PEX connector looked okay to me, I just thought I would run it up the flag pole since I don't see this type of connector that often. It appears to be a "Listed" connector.

Thanks

What are the input BTU/hr ratings? if 75mbh or less must be FVIR. Can't tell on these.
Close ups of vent connectors to vent and to draft hoods?
TPR on L
TPR discharge point?
Is that CPVC on R TPR?
Pan drainage?
Sed. trap.
Gas pipe sizing?
Bollard
strapped to wall
MUA calculation cubic footage
Left gas flex connector appears to be greater than 3 ft.

PEX splice odd but allowed far as I know.
