Do these floor trusses need studs under them

I don't inspect too many of these and never can I remember being able to see the framing supporting a floor truss. Not a problem.
There look to be 3 top plates.
Is acceptable even with only 2.

I think the truss is installed upside down for bottom bearing. Totally different for hanging. But the photos are not hanging trusses.

Each Open Joist floor truss is marked to indicate the top and bottom of the truss. Trusses should be installed in the proper orientation as indicated by these markings. To ensure correct installation, make sure the end diagonal web of the truss is pointing downward toward the sill plate.

All installation manuals indicate same, this is one example of what other manufactures state.

It was designed/ framed by professionals that had knowledge of and understood what the code allows.

Since the OPs question was about the joist not bearing on top of the studs, it did not occur to me that John may be referring to the joist being placed upside down (as Raymond pointed out). Making my comment out of place.
