Anyone doing any of these? We have done Capital Needs Assessments before but haven't had requests for these. ESA in their ads says we can earn $200-$400 per hour doing these.

GPNA HUD Inspection Training Certification Course Onlin... Tickets - Eventbrite (http://gpna-hud-inspection-certification-online-course-eorg.eventbrite.com/)

The reality is other than learning how to use the HUD GPNA tool we already have the skill set to do these assessements

Not sure what the demand is or if its one of the niches...

What does the board say?

Sounds like a "Mold is Gold" scam to me.
I doubt it would fulfill the state mandated training requirement here.

Jim,

No not mold related. See the HUD page here
Green Physical Needs Assessment (GPNA) Tool (http://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?src=/program_offices/public_indian_housing/programs/ph/capfund/gpnatool)

My take is that they are trying to teach the housing people that buildings aren't forever and you better have the reserve funds to address the big items when they become due!

Rick,

Just a quick casual look the link says Public Housing ( local Government controlled housing ) is receiving monies from HUD to Inspect their properties.

My take is They Will Inspect these properties using their own Government Employees.

The only people making any money will be the Class Provider.
*unless you have a relationship with the Grant Monies Receiver ( if you ask the question you don't.)

Hud has online training here Physical Inspection - HUD (http://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?src=/program_offices/public_indian_housing/reac/products/pass/pass_trng)
