No requirement that I know of, but if it looks hazardous to you, I would mention it just as a CYA.

What's the problem?

Looks like it is graded on the end so it is accessible for mowing purposes, so I probably wouldn't even mention it.

NO mowing after dark. ;)

I've seen some that you'd litterally have to lift the mower up to get to the next level. Well he77, mine is one of them but I don't have time to mow my own yard anyway so I'll keep up my insurance paid up in case the lawn maintenance guys are hurt.

I see no problem. By the way...is that a dog doing his imitation of a goat?

Jerry,

No requirement that I know of, but if it looks hazardous to you...

Since Robert was there, he needs to make the call.
Point being don't overlook a hazard just because you can't find something to quote.
Looks fine to me, but I was not there.

Naaaaah... that sloped grading is something that alot of folks don't get around here-- Just the multiple levels.

I don't see a problem with it.

My biggest concern would be to identify if the back yard is adequately graded with 'swales' to divert the water away from the homes foundation. It does look like they did a good amount of grading.
