I just can't put my finger on it, but the wh vent to draft hood connection looks wrong, or am i crazy? Is there a problem?
(note: insulation clearances are wrong, I know!)
Clay,
The first section of vent pipe is a 90 degree elbow that has been straightened out.
Looks funny,Sloppy, Lazy but no problem I know of it's rated vent.
Where is the water cut off for wh?

Clay,
Where is the water cut off for wh?
Right there on the inlet to the right opposite the flue. Where the break in the insulation is.

The draft hood has a tapered end for a reason, right. That is so you can shove that sucker right down snug and screw it togeather. Neither of which they got right.

Needs a single-wall to b-vent adapter at the draft hood I do believe.

I can't see a problem based on this photo. So long as the inner liner of the flue sits properly on the diverter, it looks OK to me.
