HEY GUYS house built in 2006 with this downward slope on exhaust pipe and rusted exterior vent. i know this is a call out. but what was city inspector looking at. CVF

You got the gas regulator next to the ignition source, I am sure.

jerry explain--the exhaust vent should not be that close to gas meter ?

Charlie,
The gas regulator and its vent should be, as I recall, either 3 feet or 5 feet from an ignition source, the a/ condenser unit is considered an ignition source.
