Nine plus years ago I inspected a house and did not call out brick laid on its side in a pier. The new prospective buyer, who is a HI as I understand it, wants to have further evaluation by licensed contractor. The pic was of the loose bridging but the brick can be seen in the background. What do you all think?

I am confused ... (easy to do at times) ...

Is that person saying that one should not lay brick as a rowlock and that it must always be laid as a stretcher?

Does not compute.

I would ask that JA (another term for a donkey ... or maybe not :) ) impersonator for exactly what he is looking for and documentation supporting his position.

Okay, maybe he is not like that, but why else would he be asking a question like that?
