Pipe ends in wall

Any idea what these might be for? I found 4 open end pipes protruding from a brick veneer house built in 1965. They were next to a brick chimney - two on the left of the chimney and two to the right of the chimney.

The pipe itself appears to be electrical conduits installed all the way through the brick veneer to the cavity behind and has been purposefully installed at a slight downward angle. Obviously no wires have ever been run through these and I have to admit I have never encountered this before.

No weep holes were put in the brick back in that day and age so my first though was that perhaps these were put in to ventilate the wall cavity behind the brick. But its a large house with brick all around and these four pipes left and right of the chimney were the only ones present.

Anyone with a good knowledge of 60's vintage construction have any idea on what these might be for? They seem to be part of the original construction on what was at the time a high end home.

The A/C condensate lines go to a floor drain in the mechanical room which is quite a distance from these pipes. The stubs only seem to be just long enough to get to the back side of the brick.

No basements at this house (and not many all in any event here in Houston TX). The pipe stubs are also only about as thick as a metal electrical conduit. No sign that anything has ever been connected to the stubouts either inside or outside of the wall.

Yes weep holes.

Flat top chimney sends a water load into that wall.
