i was under a house and found this what is it? Also I couldn't figure out what it was hooked to.

Looks like a drum trap, except I do not remember seeing one that is threaded.
Drum traps were often used in tubs/ showers and floor drains.

Looks like the type of drum trap often used with claw-foot tubs. The clean-out opening would be in the floor above the trap.

Appears to be a Zurn Hair Interceptor.

Looks like the type of drum trap often used with claw-foot tubs. The clean-out opening would be in the floor above the trap. AH yes the old ball and claw bath tubs kids find 5ft 6in ones think there worth megabucks they are not its the 6ft or 6ft 6in ones people want and yes its a drum trap that's what Aussies call it
