Combustion air vent

what would possess the HVAC contractor to install the combustion air vent adjacent to the gas meter....yikes, bad move!


Especially when it should be 3 feet away!

There is a screen over the relief vent on the regulator . If it is popped out the hole is treaded . The vent can be piped away to meet the Three, Four or Five foot requirement , Depending who you talk to ......

That regulator sure is not in the best location ...
