Like all of us, my water pressure gauges tend to fail from time to time. I went through a couple of cheap Watts brand and Orbitz brands before deciding to purchase a Glycerin liquid filled gauge from www.professionalequipment.com. I think I paid about $55 for it, not sure. Anyway, after about a 100 inspections, it failed. I searched online for recommendation and got a decent review on RainBird brand. Went to Home Depot and purchased on. Right out of the box it read 20 Lbs PSI before it was even hooked up. Then when I connected it, the gauge filled with water. Complete failure on the first try. Oh well. I just ordered a new liquid filled gauge from freshwatersystems.com, hopefully it will last for a while. I wonder what if any water pressure gauges have been shown to last? Any input appreciated.

Thanks, Gene

Gene, the best I have found is the one that you mentioned that used to be sold by Professional Equipment. Kind of pricey but you get what you pay for i guess. They do wear out so I buy two or three at a time.
I bought one at a plumbing supply house up in Frisco a few years back that lasted pretty well but I don't remember the name of the gauge or the supply house.

I'm down to my last shower stopper. Has anyone found another supply since PE sold out to Grainger?
