We are a multi-inspector firm doing 2500+ inspections per year. We've been with 5 different processors over the last 8 years or so. I finally did some serious shopping around and I found a local processor who can shave $900/month off of our credit card processing charges on our busiest months. This past July we paid over $3k to PNC bank for processing and the new outfit will come in just over $2k. That's serious money that I've been stepping over for quite a few years. The company is Arrow Payments and their clients include Northwester University and the University of Notre Dame.
