Metal raceway as support for pool J box

Im wondering where in this section does it specify only metal raceway as supports.

(E) Raceway-Supported Enclosure, Without Devices,Luminaires, or Lampholders. An enclosure that does not
contain a device(s), other than splicing devices, or supports
a luminaire(s), a lampholder, or other equipment and is
supported by entering raceways shall not exceed 1650 cm3
(l00 in?) in size. It shall have threaded entries or identified
hubs. It shall be supported by two or more conduits
threaded wrenchtight into the enclosure or hubs. Each conduit
shall be secured within 900 mm (3 ft) of the enclosure,
or within 450 mm (18 in.) of the enclosure if all conduit
entries are on the same side.

That section calls for two conduits, the exception allows for one conduit and even the exception specifies IMC, RMC, EMT, (all the preceding being metal), and PVC, RTRC.

The type of conduit would need to meet the requirements of the use, in this case, it would be emerging from grade and above 18 inches below grade, so the conduit would need to be RMC (Rigid Metal Conduit), IMC (Intermediate Metal Conduit), or Sch 80 PVC (nonmetallic Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride Conduit).

Threaded adapters are available for PVC, so we don't want to read too deeply into what is not there.

I know inspectors that will not accept them either as the raceway is not threaded. Also by extension, it is not wrench tight with a glued fitting.

Now with that in mind, would you accept Carflex with a fitting to support a raceway?

I hope you would not accept Carflex for that use as it is not approved to provide protection from physical damage or for protection of conductors emerging from grade (as related to the specific question and graphic submitted by the original poster), however, the code section referenced in the graphics is not specifically and only applicable to that one illustrated use/installation.

So, going back to the code section, Carflex is not suitable for support of an enclosure anywhere.
