Trying to find a great inspector for a family member at Lake Norman, NC.

My brother and his wife are purchasing a new house at Lake Norman outside of Charlotte, NC. The house was built by Nest Builders and is in Sisters Cove, Mooresville, NC.

Two questions.

1) What is the reputation of this builder.

2) Who are the best inspectors that serve this area?

North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector Association, NCLHIA.com, is local state association of home inspectors. About 1/3 of all NC inspectors belong. They have a Find an Inspector option on their website.

NC State licensing board provides a list of all licensed inspectors in the state by area. There are currently 136 in Mecklengburg county, where Charolotte is located. The surrounding counties have another about 150 inspectors.
